Additional Imbalances
What is it?
- Within this imbalance is a blindness—a denial of and inability to accept the Truth. Those with this imbalance often deflect Truth by avoiding conflict, change, or life altogether. In attempting to avoid, deny, or ignore problems or confrontations, they often wind up creating more for themselves and others. They often assume others know what they are thinking or feeling but do not communicate it, which creates confusion for others.
This Imbalance Includes resisting change and other related energies to include:
- Wallowing; blind Faith and allowing others to govern your fear and emotions;
- Lack of Truth; abdication of responsibility;
- Allowing other people’s teachings and opinions of you to dictate your worth, including those of parents, spouses, and peers; procrastination;
- Drug or alcohol use (most addictions fall into this imbalance);
- Naiveté; causing a mess and leaving someone else to clean it up; and denial (very important).
- There is a huge amount of laziness inherent to it.
- Those in this imbalance tend to want all of the fruits of the labor others receive through hard work . . . without having to do any of the work.
- Many with this imbalance believe equality to mean that, even though doing no work, they deserve exactly the same amount as another person who has worked hard.
- This is a form of entitlement.
- Very often those with this imbalance struggle with unworthiness or fear of conflict. However, people with unworthiness issues can simultaneously feel entitled.
- This third imbalance is allowing the outer to dictate the inner. Or for the inner to project a lens of delusion onto the outer.
- This imbalance includes allowing yourself to be indoctrinated by others’ interpretation of God instead of defining, allowing for, and celebrating your own unique relationship with God.
- It is an abdication of responsibility for your role in imbalance, which can lead to blame or shame when your thoughts or feelings are rejected by the external world.
- This imbalance also includes doing things the way others do instead of honoring originality and authentic creative process.
- This imbalance represents an overexertion or under-exertion of worth.
- It is resisting transformation and evolution. It is an inability to cope with life in the sense of continuously feeling overwhelmed or underwhelmed.
- There is an equal self-righteousness and judgment essence to this imbalance.
- It is either apathy, allowing for others to violate boundaries or mitigate your worth, or it is a defense strategy similar to an ostrich burying its head in the sand.
- This imbalance is “looking away” from things that require change or shift. Trying to pretend they are not there.
- Procrastination can be a behavioral manifestation of this imbalance. Continuously putting things off or trying to will away what your intuition and soul continues to draw your attention to.

What does it do?
- Unworthiness may express itself through complacency, procrastination, and avoiding work because they feel they do not deserve success. However, this can actually exacerbate their sense of entitlement to receive things so that they can continue to take the easy road instead of confront their fears and the source of the unworthiness.
- You expect others to clean your diapers and support you emotionally, financially, etc., while remaining in complete denial or even becoming agitated or volatile if confronted with responsibility.
- Many fancy themselves to be givers but actually take more than they give, in energy and in resources.
- Those with this imbalance can even feel entitled to project opinions onto others from a place of ignorance or denial of the full picture. They are not interested in exploring the Truth or even seeing the Truth. They are interested in maintaining the status quo or “getting mine.”
- They cannot see what they are not willing to look at and they will not be ready to see it until they are ready, and not a moment before.
- Trying to argue or reason with someone in ignorance, self-righteousness, complacency, and denial is futile and exhausting. This can be referred to as gaslighting or even compulsive lying is not often done consciously by those with this imbalance.
- You can cause those around you to question their reality or sanity, especially when those with this imbalance are so fervent in their limited beliefs and understandings.
- This imbalance can lead to chaos. Projects started and left unfinished. Waiting another day. Giving up when something becomes difficult instead of honoring discipline and devotion to create what you wish for your life and the world.
What to do about it?
- Realignment of this imbalance requires courage in allowing for discomfort.
- It requires flowing with your resistance and accepting your shadow. It also requires listening to your discernment.
- Taking action to create your own reality and dreams instead of waiting or expecting another to do it for you.
- Humility and acceptance of Truth, as well as taking the responsibility and accountability to look at the uncomfortable, limiting beliefs and behaviors that keep you stuck.
- Communicating, even when it feels hard or impossible to communicate your thoughts and feelings.
- Clear communication and embracing instead of denying change is an essential.
- Listening. Many with this imbalance listen selectively. Listening fully to others as you would wish others to listen to you can open many new paths, friendships, and connections that were not possible before.
- “Many will trade their Freedom for the illusion of safety.”
- Rebalancing this distortion requires examining the illusions, taking some leaps of Faith to move into deeper passion and resolution of issues long ignored, and taking the steps to open the door to your own Freedom.
- It requires nurturing your inner child but not as a child, instead as Divine Parent to yourself.
- This is simpler when you allow Faith to govern and structure a deeper relationship with the Divine.
